The Ascended Omens and the Ember Gate

Omens

Lore

An Omen that is slain does not stay slain. Bind three shards of its herald into a sigil and it returns, Ascended, behind the Ember Gate. The fallen wait in the antechamber for the Gate to let them back. It always does, until it does not.
