Rolls the tier (by item level) and value of the modifier you pick again (used directly: a random unbound one).

Only an item with a rarity and a modifier that is not bound.

Uniques, ruined items and stacks are refused; the crafting bench shows what an orb would do before you use it.

Used directly: Use with on the orb, then click the item.

Monster drops	Per kill by monster tier: Normal 0.04%, Magic 0.35%, Rare 1.4%, Legendary 6%, Boss 10%; 1 at a time. Legendary monsters and bosses also drop one guaranteed currency item, this one 2.9% of the time.
Salvage	Combine 50 rune shards into one at the crafting bench.
Salvage bonus	Salvaging gear with a rarity sometimes gives a whole orb (0.5%-5% per item by rarity); 2.9% of those are this one.
