What the store never sells
Cinders of Chaos is free to play. The store pays for the server and never sells power. This is our pledge, and this page is tested against the settings of the game server, so it cannot drift from what the store really does.
Never sold
- Gear. Weapons, armor, shields, jewelry and any piece you wear. Gear comes from monsters, bosses and crafting.
- Luck orbs and crafted items. No orb with a random result and no finished or upgraded item. Only three crafting tools without luck are in the store, each with a weekly limit. They are listed below, in the open.
- Random-result items. No box, chest or paid draw that hands out an item. Whatever a draw in the game gives comes from bosses and events, not from coins.
- Stats, levels and skills. No level, skill, magic level or passive tree point is sold ready-made. Only the capped time savers below exist, and the game also gives those for free in other ways.
- Classes. Necromancer, Monk and Templar are earned: any character of the account at level 200 unlocks all three. The store does not sell them.
- Any combat advantage. Nothing that raises damage, defense, healing or speed, in PvE or PvP. Combat cosmetics (level-up, rare-loot and victory effects) change looks only.
What the store sells
- Cosmetics. Outfits, mounts, wings, auras, shaders, name plate frames, kill, level-up and rare-loot effects, spell skins, chat colors. Some items are never sold and are earned by playing.
- Convenience. Room and fewer clicks: stash expansions and tabs, character and build slots, Loot Bag, Auto Seller, Rarity Autoloot, orb, key and gem pouches, Everfull Ration. None of it gives items, gold or power.
- Time savers with weekly limits. A few items save hours of play. Each has a limit, and the full list is further down.
- Supplies at their gold value. Potions and runes in packs cost about what they would cost in gold. Coins never buy supplies far below their gold price, and the store is checked so that it creates no loop from coins to gold.
- Services. Name, sex and vocation changes, skull remover, passive tree reset, blessings. A vocation change keeps the skills and resets the passive tree for free.
- Subscriptions. Chaos Pact (30 days, stacks up to 365), Premium for 30, 90 and 180 days, and the season pass, which gives cosmetics and coins only. The gameplay perks of the Pact and Premium are in the list below.
- Founder Pack, a limited sale. Two packs of cosmetics that never return (a name plate frame, wings, a title) with a few days of Chaos Pact. One per account and pack, sold only from the launch until 18 Dec 2026 at 15:00. No power, no luck orbs and no finished items.
What time savers exist and their limits
These are the gray areas: everything the store sells that saves play time. If something changes, this page changes with it, because it is tested against the server configs.
| Time saver | What it does | Its limit |
|---|---|---|
| Chaos Pact: +10% experience | 10% more experience from monsters and stamina that comes back 1.5 times faster. Beyond that, comfort only: room, slots, a title and the cosmetic of the month. | Applies to standard characters, not season characters. Counts against the server experience cap. |
| Premium: x1.5 experience on green stamina | Experience 1.5 times higher while stamina is green (above 40 of the 42 hours). It also opens premium outfits and mounts, houses and offline training. | The gain is worth about 1 hour of progress a day, and the store no longer sells stamina (the refill was removed so nobody pays to farm). |
| Double Experience Potion | 1 hour of double experience per potion. | At most 4 single potions and 2 packs of 5 a week per account: up to 14 hours of double experience a week. Not for season characters. |
| World buffs | +25% experience, loot or skill training (rare monsters 50% more often with Hunt) for 1 hour, for every player online, not only the buyer. | Stacks to 3 hours at most. Not for season characters. The extra roll of World Loot has no balance model yet and will be watched in the beta. |
| Exercise weapons | Weapons with charges that train a skill or magic level on a dummy. The 14400 charge weapon saves 30 to 80 hours of hunting as training. The 500 and 1800 charge ones are small and cheap. | The 14400 charge weapons: at most 2 a week in all types together. Skills also grow for free by hunting and offline training. |
| Crafting tools without luck | Whetstones (10 per purchase, +1% quality each), Orb of Excision (removes the modifier you choose) and Orb of Binding (protects one modifier). The result is always the one described, never drawn. | Per account and week: 5 whetstone purchases, 3 Excision, 3 Binding. Orbs with a random result are not sold. |
| Everfull potion tiers | The swap of an Everfull potion for the next tier, the same one Veyra makes for gold and stock potions. | Once per tier and character, with the same level requirement as the quest. The store gives no better roll and no charges. |
| Pets | Small abilities: a heal of 4 to 8% or more gold found (+2 to +7%). | The same pets and abilities come free from achievements and bosses. Buying saves time and creates no new power. |
Prices are in the in-game Store (Economy > Store) and on the Donate page. Donations are always voluntary.
