Under a Cinder moon some hunters do not come home as hunters. The Thornbound Circle calls them the moon-sick and keeps a place at its table for each of them, in case they return. None ever has. Bramwyn says they run from something in the marsh, a mother of a hundred heads, and that the moon only shows them the way.
